In the 1950's and 60's Arthur Hazen purchased 25 acres of land in Commerce Township and 80 acres in Howell, Michigan. After clearing the land during evenings, weekends, and holidays, Art and his son, Dennis planted over 25 acres of blueberry bushes and launched the future of Hazen's Farms. As time passed, the farms consolidated in Howell and became strictly U-pick.
We handmake all our confections at our bakeshop, Sweet Marias. We specialize in making the freshest confections using fruit grown on our farm and other local farms. Join us at Hazen’s and enjoy homemade pies, ice cream, cookies, muffins, and much more. Want to make sure you don’t miss out? Place an online order and have your sweets reserved for pick-up.
